Aragonite Pyramid - 2.25-2.5 inch

A banded carbonate pyramid for grounded, settled balance
$24.95

Product Description

This Aragonite Pyramid shows warm tan-to-brown banding running through the stone, with paler and darker layers meeting in soft natural lines, finished to a smooth polish on all four faces. The banding shifts across the surfaces as the Pyramid is turned, and the form sits squarely with a clean apex. It is a comfortable hand-sized Pyramid with good visual depth in the layering.

Aragonite is traditionally associated with balance and grounding, and is commonly used as a centring, stabilizing piece. Many people keep this Pyramid on a desk or altar to anchor a space, hold it during quiet reflection, or set it within a crystal layout; the pyramid form makes it well suited to focusing intention and to display.

Formed naturally, each Aragonite Pyramid differs in its banding pattern, colour depth, and the flow of the growth lines, so every one is distinct.

Geological Information
Aragonite is a calcium carbonate mineral of the orthorhombic system, relatively soft at a Mohs hardness of 3.5 to 4, and one of the two common calcium carbonate polymorphs alongside calcite, sharing the same chemistry but a different crystal structure. Its colour ranges across white, yellow, brown and orange from trace mineral impurities, with the banding here reflecting layered deposition. Aragonite is also the mineral that forms nacre and coral, and its star-cluster growth habit is one of its more distinctive natural forms. It takes its name from the Aragon region of Spain, where it was first described in 1797. This material is sourced from Morocco or Mexico, with further deposits in Spain, the USA and the Czech Republic.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Aragonite is soft at Mohs 3.5 to 4 and is sensitive to both water and acids. Keep it dry, store it apart from harder stones, and keep it away from acids such as vinegar and citrus.
