Pyrite with Black Magnetite Tumbled Stone - 20-35 mm
Product Description
Pyrite with Black Magnetite Tumbled Stones set bright metallic-gold Pyrite against a dark Magnetite matrix, polished so the gold flecks and zones gleam across a deep black ground. The contrast is striking and shifts as the stone catches the light. At this size the pieces are dense and weighty, with a solid, substantial feel in the hand.
Pyrite with Black Magnetite is traditionally valued for drawing together Pyrite's associations with abundance and drive and Magnetite's grounding, stabilizing character. It is often chosen by people focused on goals who also want to feel rooted, and is commonly kept on a desk, held during intention-setting, or carried day to day. The bold gold-on-black look also makes it a popular display stone.
Because the two minerals occur together naturally, every piece shows a different balance of gold Pyrite to black Magnetite.

Geological Information
Pyrite with Black Magnetite is a naturally occurring combination of iron sulphide (pyrite) and iron oxide (magnetite), with the pyrite component crystallizing in the cubic system at a Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5. The two iron-bearing minerals form together in hydrothermal ore deposits, the gold metallic pyrite set within a black magnetite matrix to create a strong visual contrast. Pyrite has been used since antiquity as a fire-starting material, its name deriving from the Greek pyr, meaning fire, while magnetite has been significant since ancient times as a compass mineral; the combination carries both traditions. The magnetite component is magnetic, so pieces may attract small iron particles. This material is sourced primarily from Peru, with further deposits in Spain and the USA.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
The magnetite component is magnetic. Keep it away from pacemakers, defibrillators and other medical devices, and store it apart from electronics and magnetic-strip cards.
