Quartz with Chrysocolla Tumbled Stone - 15-35 mm
Product Description
Quartz with Chrysocolla Tumbled Stone, a smooth polished piece of clear to milky quartz framing soft blue-green chrysocolla in flowing, organic patterns. Each stone is tumbled to a rounded shape and a polish that lets the quartz gently showcase the chrysocolla. It sits comfortably in the hand or pocket.
Quartz with Chrysocolla is traditionally associated with calm communication and gentle emotional balance, and is commonly used as a soothing, expressive stone. People often hold it before speaking, keep it close for a sense of calm clarity, or display it for its watery blue-green colour. The quartz-and-chrysocolla blend gives it a layered, tranquil look.
Each Quartz with Chrysocolla Tumbled Stone is natural, so the spread of blue-green chrysocolla through the quartz varies from one piece to the next.

Geological Information
Quartz with Chrysocolla is a natural combination of clear or white quartz and chrysocolla, a hydrated copper silicate, forming in the oxidized zones of copper ore deposits, with a variable hardness of roughly Mohs 5 to 7 across the stone. The vivid teal blue-green comes from the copper content of the chrysocolla, while the harder quartz encases and stabilizes the otherwise fragile copper mineral. Because chrysocolla is copper-bearing, handling care is appropriate. Chrysocolla has been used since ancient times; its name comes from the Greek chrysos, meaning gold, and kolla, meaning glue, referencing its historical use as a soldering flux for gold. The primary commercial material comes from Peru, with further deposits in Arizona in the USA, Chile and the Congo.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
The chrysocolla in this stone is soft and is a copper-bearing mineral, so handle it gently, wash your hands after handling, and do not use it in water or to make crystal elixirs. Keep it dry and store it apart from harder stones.
