Rose Quartz Heart - 1.25-1.75 inch

Soft pink stone of love polished into a gentle palm heart
$8.95

Product Description

The Rose Quartz Heart is a soft blush pink stone with a cloudy body that scatters light rather than passing it cleanly, giving the edges a gentle glow. Paler and deeper zones drift through each piece without hard boundaries, and faint surface veiling shows on some. The polish is smooth and rounded, and at this size the Heart sits comfortably in a closed hand or a coat pocket. Tone runs from near-white through to a deeper dusty pink across the batch.

Rose Quartz is traditionally associated with love and compassion, holding the most widely recognised reputation of any stone in that register, with a documented history as a love token reaching back to ancient Egypt and Rome. A secondary association with calm and stress relief gives it a gentler, more self-directed reading as well. At this size the Hearts work as gifts and carry pieces rather than display stones.

Geological Information
Rose Quartz belongs to the quartz family, a silicon dioxide mineral of the trigonal system with a Mohs hardness of 7. Its pink colour comes from trace titanium, iron, or manganese, or from microscopic pink fibre inclusions of dumortierite or similar minerals. It occurs in two forms: the massive material that makes up almost all commercial supply, coloured by those fibre inclusions, and the considerably rarer clear rose quartz crystals coloured by trace elements. The same oriented fibre inclusions produce asterism in Star Rose Quartz, showing a six-rayed star when the stone is cut as a cabochon. The material is natural and requires no treatment. Rose Quartz was used in ancient Egypt and Rome as a love token, with surviving pieces recovered from Egyptian cosmetic contexts and Roman burial sites. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, India, South Africa, and the USA.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
