Sapphire Tumbled Chips - 3-5 mm
Product Description
These Sapphire Chips are small tumbled pieces in blue to blue-grey, with the dense, opaque-to-translucent character of tumbled corundum and a smooth surface. The chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to crystal grids, resin and jewellery craft, pouches, and decorative fills.
Sapphire is traditionally associated with intuition, wisdom, and mental clarity, and is commonly used to support insight, focus, and calm discernment. Loose chips like these are often placed in grids and intention layouts, added to craft and resin projects, or carried in a pouch. Their deep blue makes them a distinctive material for focused, insightful layouts.
As a natural gem material, each chip varies in colour and translucency across the mix, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Sapphire is the non-red gem variety of corundum, aluminium oxide with a hardness of 9, second only to diamond among natural minerals. Its blue colour comes from iron and titanium, and corundum in every other colour except red is also sapphire, while red corundum is ruby. Sri Lankan material is prized for fine quality, and the historically finest Kashmir sapphires are now largely depleted. One of the four classical precious gemstones, it was used across ancient Persia, Greece, Rome, and Asia. The material is sourced chiefly from Sri Lanka, Madagascar, and Australia, with further deposits in Myanmar, Thailand, and Montana in the United States.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
