Flame Stone Skull with Details - 3.5-3.75 inch

Large fluorescent syenite skull that glows under UV light for clarity and insight
$44.95

Product Description

Flame Stone Skull presents a large carved skull in a fluorescent sodalite-bearing syenite, with the cranium, eye sockets, nasal cavity, and jaw worked from the stone and detailed across the surface. In natural light the rock appears grey to tan with darker mottling; under ultraviolet light the sodalite content fluoresces, lighting up across the skull against the darker matrix. At 92 to 94 mm and 412 to 432 g, it is a large statement carving suited to display and intentional work.

This material is associated with clarity and focus, along with intuition and spiritual awareness. As a large carved skull that glows under UV light, it brings a striking, otherworldly presence to a shelf, desk, or altar, a dramatic focal piece for spaces intended for insight and introspection.

These pieces are carved from natural fluorescent syenite and will display unique mottling, fluorescence, and surface character inherent to the material. As these are sold by weight, you will receive an individual skull and its exact size, pattern, and glow will vary. No UV light is included.

Geological Information
This material is a fluorescent sodalite-bearing syenite, an igneous rock in which the mineral sodalite fluoresces under ultraviolet light due to sulphur-bearing inclusions, with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6. In natural light it appears an unremarkable grey to tan; the fluorescent glow is only visible under UV. The best-known material of this type, found tumbled along the Lake Superior shoreline and named in 2017, is marketed as yooperlite; this piece is sourced from China, so it is best described as a fluorescent syenite of the same type rather than true Lake Superior yooperlite.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
No treatments have been applied to this material; the fluorescence is natural and intrinsic to the sodalite content. No UV light source is included. Handle with care to avoid scratches and knocks.
