Fluorite Skull - 2.0 inch
Product Description
The Fluorite Skull is a carved skull in green Fluorite, its facial features and cranial contours worked into the stone and finished with a smooth polish. Colour runs through soft to deeper green, sometimes with the gentle banding and zoning typical of Fluorite, and each Fluorite Skull shows a different play of tone through its translucent body. It makes a striking small focal piece for a desk or shelf.
Fluorite is traditionally associated with clarity and focus alongside balance and harmony, often called a stone for a clear, ordered mind. A carved skull is a popular form for meditation, seasonal display or simply as a distinctive decorative piece, and the green Fluorite gives this Fluorite Skull a calm, cool presence.
This piece is carved from natural Fluorite and will show unique colour banding, zoning and surface character inherent to the material, so each Fluorite Skull is one of a kind.

Geological Information
Fluorite is a halide mineral, calcium fluoride (CaF2, Mohs 4, cubic system), and the defining mineral for hardness 4 on the Mohs scale. Its colour is highly variable, from purple, green, blue and yellow to clear and multicolour banding, produced by trace impurities and natural irradiation, with colour zoning reflecting successive growth phases; this piece is green. Fluorite has perfect octahedral cleavage in four directions, meaning it can split cleanly along those planes if struck, and the word fluorescence derives from Fluorite, the first mineral observed to fluoresce under UV light. Principal commercial source is China, along with Mexico, South Africa, the USA and the UK, including the famous Derbyshire Blue John.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Fluorite is a soft stone (Mohs 4) with perfect cleavage and can chip or split if knocked or dropped. Handle the Fluorite Skull gently, keep it separate from harder stones and hard surfaces, and protect it from impacts.
