Product Description

These Sodalite Tumbled Stones are larger polished pieces in strong royal blue, marked with the white calcite veining that runs through the stone, finished smooth and rounded. The bold colour holds a real presence at this size, and the bigger surface lets the individual blue-and-white patterning show clearly. They suit decorative displays, study collections, or steady tactile handling.

Sodalite is traditionally associated with rational thought, clarity and a calm, level-headed focus, and is commonly chosen by people who want help thinking clearly and staying organised. Many keep a piece where they study or work, hold one during reflection, or set it on a desk during demanding tasks. It is a frequent choice for students and anyone facing a mentally busy period.

As a natural stone, the depth of blue and the pattern of white veining differ from one piece to the next, so each stone is distinct.

Geological Information
Sodalite is a sodium aluminium silicate chloride, a feldspathoid with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6, its royal blue colour coming from sulphur and iron, with characteristic white calcite veining. It is often mistaken for lapis lazuli but lacks lapis's gold pyrite flecks and shows a more even blue threaded with white. The large Princess Sodalite deposit in Ontario, Canada was found during a royal visit in 1891, and the tenebrescent variety Hackmanite turns violet under UV light and reverts in the dark. This is natural, untreated material, sourced from Brazil, Canada, Namibia, India and Russia.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Sodalite is moderately soft (Mohs 5.5 to 6) and can scratch. Store it apart from harder stones and handle it gently to protect the polished surface.
