Product Description

The Dendritic Agate Standing Specimen with Druse is a large upright piece with a pale, translucent-to-white face traced by fine black and brown branching inclusions that look like ferns or winter trees. A pocket of tiny sparkling druzy crystals adds texture and catches the light against the smooth dendritic surface. The base is cut flat so the specimen stands freely, presenting its patterned face as a display piece with real presence.

Dendritic Agate is traditionally associated with balance and steady growth, and is also linked to abundance and gradual progress, qualities people often connect to its branching, plant-like markings. A standing specimen of this size is chosen as a centrepiece for a shelf, desk or altar, where the detail of the dendrites and the sparkle of the druse can be seen up close.

As a natural specimen, the pattern of the dendrites, the placement of the druzy pocket and the overall form are unique to this piece, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Dendritic Agate is a variety of chalcedony within the quartz family, a silicon dioxide crystallising in the trigonal system at a Mohs hardness of 7, with a translucent to white base. Its defining feature, the branching tree- or fern-like inclusions called dendrites, is formed by manganese or iron oxide crystals growing through fractures in the silica during formation; although they resemble fossilised plants, they are mineral formations and not organic material, a common misconception worth clarifying. When opaque white it is sometimes called Tree Agate, and the "druse" here refers to a pocket of fine druzy quartz crystals. Dendritic Agate was used in ancient Greek and Roman traditions as an agricultural talisman. Documented sources include India, Brazil, the United States, Kazakhstan and China.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance.
