Amethyst with Phantom Quartz & Black Tourmaline Specimen - 2.25-4.5 inch
Product Description
This natural Specimen brings together purple Amethyst, ghost-lined Phantom Quartz, and dense black Tourmaline in a single unpolished piece, its crystalline faces catching the light against the darker matrix. The rough form has real weight and presence, showing the stones as they grew together, and reads as an earthy, characterful specimen on a shelf, desk, or altar.
This combination is traditionally valued for pairing the spiritual, intuitive qualities associated with Amethyst and Phantom Quartz with the strong grounding and protective character attributed to Black Tourmaline. A specimen like this is often kept in a workspace or meditation area, placed in a room as an anchoring focal point, or held during contemplative practice. The mix of light crystal and dark schorl makes it a striking piece for collectors.
Formed naturally, each Specimen differs in the proportion of the three minerals, its crystal faces, matrix, and overall shape, so every piece is one of a kind.

Geological Information
This Specimen combines three quartz-group and tourmaline-group minerals. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, coloured by iron and natural irradiation within the lattice, hardness 7. Phantom Quartz is clear to smoky quartz carrying a visible ghost outline of an earlier crystal, formed when growth paused and a thin mineral layer settled before growth resumed, each phantom recording a genuine pause in geological time. Black Tourmaline, correctly called Schorl, is an iron-rich borosilicate, hardness 7 to 7.5, notable for its piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties, developing an electric charge when rubbed or heated. Amethyst of this type is sourced chiefly from Brazil, Uruguay, and Zambia; Phantom Quartz from Brazil, Madagascar, and Switzerland; and Black Tourmaline from Brazil, the United States, Africa, and Pakistan.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
The Amethyst in this Specimen can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Display it away from strong, direct sun to preserve the depth of the purple colour.
