Stilbite Flower on Matrix on Wood Base Specimen - 2.75-4.5 inch
Product Description
The Stilbite Flower Specimen is a natural cluster of peach to tan Stilbite, formed in the soft, blooming bow-tie sprays that give the stone its "flower" name, mounted on a wood base for display. The warm-toned crystals radiate outward from the matrix in their characteristic sheaf-like fans, and the wood base lets the specimen stand upright as a finished display piece. It is shown in its natural grown form rather than shaped or polished.
Stilbite is traditionally associated with calm, creativity and a sense of gentle uplift, and is often kept in spaces meant for rest, reflection or creative work. A mounted specimen like this is chosen as a display centrepiece for a shelf, desk or altar, valued for the soft colour and the delicate, flower-like crystal formation as much as for its associations.
Because this is a natural specimen, the spread of the crystals, the depth of the peach tone and the overall form differ entirely from one piece to the next, so the specimen you receive will be one of a kind.

Geological Information
Stilbite is a zeolite mineral, a sodium calcium aluminium silicate that crystallises in the monoclinic system at a soft Mohs hardness of 3.5 to 4. It forms in the cavities of basaltic rock, and its defining habit is the distinctive bow-tie or sheaf-shaped crystal aggregate seen here, occurring in white, peach, pink and yellow. The Deccan Trap basalts of India's Pune district dominate the world's retail supply, where Stilbite is often found on matrix alongside apophyllite and scolecite, producing the exceptional display specimens the region is known for. This material is sourced from India.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Stilbite is fragile and soft, and its bow-tie crystal clusters break easily. Handle the specimen by its base rather than the crystals, keep it where it will not be knocked, and dust gently with a soft brush rather than wiping.
