Fossil Coral Sphere - 2.0-2.25 inch
Product Description
This Fossil Coral Sphere shows the fine flower-like patterning of agatized ancient coral, in soft tan, brown and grey tones with the small radiating coral structures scattered across the polished surface. The pattern wraps continuously around the Sphere, catching the light as it rolls. It is a smooth, hand-sized sphere with subtle, intricate detail.
Fossil Coral is traditionally associated with grounding and steady transformation, and is commonly used as an anchoring stone through periods of change. Many people keep this Sphere on a stand as a display piece, hold it during reflection, or use it in grounding-focused practice; its link to ancient seas makes it a meaningful piece for those drawn to deep time and natural history.
Each Fossil Coral Sphere preserves a different fossil pattern, so the coral structures and colouring vary from one piece to the next, and no two are alike.

Geological Information
Fossil Coral is agatized fossilized coral, formed as the calcium carbonate skeletons of ancient coral polyps were gradually replaced by silica (chalcedony or opal) over millions of years, so it carries the properties of both fossil and agate at a Mohs hardness of around 6.5 to 7. The flower-like patterns are the preserved structures of the original coral colonies, and colour ranges from chalky white through brown, grey and reddish tones. It forms in regions once covered by ancient seas, and the well-known Petoskey Stone of Michigan is one famous example of fossil coral. This material is sourced from Indonesia, another significant source of agatized coral.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
