Super 7, also called Sacred Seven or Melody Stone, is a quartz-family material with a Mohs hardness of 7 that contains seven minerals in a single specimen: amethyst, smoky quartz, clear quartz, cacoxenite, rutile, goethite, and lepidocrocite. It is a natural, untreated material, and its mixed purple, smoky, and clear body with visible inclusions comes from those combined minerals. The name was popularised by the crystal author Melody in the late twentieth century. The material is specific to a locality in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Its primary source is Brazil.
