Tiger Calcite Tumbled Stone - 10-20 mm
Product Description
Tiger Calcite Tumbled Stones are striking pieces banded in black, grey, and white, the alternating stripes reading boldly across each polished surface even at this smaller size. The high-contrast pattern gives every stone a graphic character, and no two share the same arrangement of bands. These are smooth, pocketable tumbles.
Tiger Calcite is traditionally associated with confidence, ambition, and lively energy. It is commonly carried as a bold everyday stone, held during intention work around self-assurance and motivation, or kept close for an energizing presence. Its dramatic banding makes it a distinctive pocket stone and a favourite for collections.
The banding pattern differs on every stone, so each piece shows its own arrangement of black, grey, and white stripes, distinct from the photograph.

Geological Information
Tiger Calcite is a banded calcium carbonate of the calcite family (Mohs 3, trigonal), formed from alternating iron-rich and iron-poor layers that create its stripe patterning, a banding mechanism similar to banded agates but occurring in a calcite rather than a silica matrix. It is untreated natural material and, like other calcites, is soft and acid-sensitive. Mexico produces the primary commercial material, and banded calcite with earth tones has been worked decoratively in Mesoamerican and other traditions.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Tiger Calcite is a soft stone (Mohs 3) and is sensitive to acids. Handle it gently, keep it away from vinegar, citrus, and cleaning products, and store it apart from harder stones to protect its polish.
