Tiger Eye Tumbled Stone - 10-20 mm
Product Description
Tiger Eye Tumbled Stones in this smaller size are warm golden-brown pieces crossed by a silky band of moving light, polished to a smooth pocket-friendly form. As each stone turns, the chatoyant sheen slides across the surface, giving even these small tumbles a soft, shifting glow. They are light and easy to carry loose.
Tiger Eye is traditionally associated with confidence, ambition, and grounded protection. Small tumbles like these are commonly carried for steadiness and self-assurance, kept in a pocket or bag, or shared as everyday tokens. Their warm colour and distinctive light band make them one of the more popular pocket stones.
The width, brightness, and position of the chatoyant band vary from stone to stone, so each piece catches the light in its own way and will differ from the photograph.

Geological Information
Tiger Eye is a chalcedony variety of quartz (silicon dioxide, Mohs 7, trigonal) that forms through pseudomorphism, in which silica gradually replaces blue crocidolite fibres while preserving their parallel alignment. Its golden-brown colour and silky chatoyant band, the cat's eye effect, are produced by light reflecting off that parallel fibre structure. It is untreated natural material; the asbestos replacement process is complete, so Tiger Eye is safe to handle, with the original fibres fully replaced by silica. Hawk's Eye is the blue-grey variety where oxidation is incomplete. Historically it was worn as a protective talisman in ancient Rome. It is sourced primarily from South Africa, with material also from India, Australia, the USA, and Brazil.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
