Product Description

These Lemon Chrysoprase Chips are small tumbled pieces in a soft, pale apple-to-lemon green, with the smooth, slightly translucent surface characteristic of the stone. The chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to crystal grids, resin and jewellery craft, pouches, and decorative fills.

Chrysoprase is traditionally associated with the heart, with gentle emotional healing, and with renewal and growth, and is commonly used to encourage compassion and a hopeful outlook. Loose chips like these are often scattered through heart-focused grids, added to craft and resin projects, or carried in pouches. Their soft green makes them a gentle, uplifting crafting material.

As a natural chalcedony, each chip varies in its green tone and translucency across the mix, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Chrysoprase is a chalcedony variety of the quartz family, silicon dioxide with a hardness of 7, and is the only chalcedony coloured green by nickel, which produces its distinctive apple-green to lemon-green tone. Fine Australian material shows an intense translucent green often compared to jade. It was used in ancient Greece and Rome, was reportedly worn by Alexander the Great, and decorates the fourteenth-century St Wenceslas Chapel in Prague. The material is sourced chiefly from Queensland in Australia, with further deposits in Poland, Tanzania, Brazil, and the United States.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Chrysoprase can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Store or display these chips away from strong, direct sun to keep the green colour from lightening over time.
