Soft pink to lilac tumbled chips in a 5-15 mm form - heart-centred and calm in grids, resin, and decorative arrangements
$16.95

Product Description

These Kunzite Chips are tumbled pieces in soft blush pink to pale lilac, showing the natural cleavage surfaces and gentle translucency of the mineral. The chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to crystal grids, resin and jewellery craft, pouches, and decorative fills.

Kunzite is traditionally associated with the heart, with gentle love, and with calm emotional openness, and is commonly used to soothe stress and support tenderness. Loose chips like these are often placed in heart-focused grids, added to craft and resin projects, or carried in a pouch. Their soft pink-lilac colour makes them a gentle material for loving, calming layouts.

As a natural stone, each chip varies in the softness and depth of its pink across the mix, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Kunzite is the pink manganese-bearing variety of spodumene, a lithium aluminium silicate with a hardness of 6.5 to 7 and a monoclinic structure, taking its pink to violet-pink colour from manganese. It forms as elongated, striated prismatic crystals and is strongly pleochroic, showing different colours along different crystal axes. It was named after the gemologist George Frederick Kunz, chief gemologist of Tiffany and Co, who first described it in 1902. The material is sourced chiefly from Afghanistan, Brazil, and Madagascar, with further deposits in the United States and Pakistan.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Kunzite's pink colour can fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight or strong light. Keep these chips out of direct sunlight for extended periods to preserve the colour.
