Product Description

Blue Kyanite Crystal Chips display the distinctive blue colouration of the material, ranging from pale grey-blue through to vivid cornflower blue across the natural irregular chip pieces. The striated bladed surface texture characteristic of kyanite is visible on many pieces, giving the chips a raw, unprocessed quality that reflects the natural crystal structure of the material. These chips are well suited for use in crystal grids, orgonite making, resin work, terrarium and plant arrangements, bowl and dish displays, candle embedding, or loose placement in intentional spaces.

Blue Kyanite is primarily associated with balance and harmony, while also supporting intuition and spiritual awareness. The cool blue tones and natural bladed character give these chips a calm, clear quality that works naturally in creative and intentional applications alike.

These pieces are formed from natural Blue Kyanite and will display unique tonal variation, natural cleavage surfaces, and structural character inherent to the material.

Geological Information
Blue kyanite is an aluminium silicate mineral forming in triclinic crystal structure with one of the most unusual physical properties of any common mineral and its hardness varies significantly depending on the direction it is measured. Along the length of the crystal the hardness is approximately 4.5, while measured across the width it reaches 6.5-7. This anisotropic hardness is physically demonstrable and unique among widely available minerals. The blue colouration is produced by iron impurities within the crystal lattice, ranging from pale grey-blue through to vivid cornflower blue depending on concentration. Kyanite forms as elongated bladed crystals with a characteristic striated surface, and the name derives from the Greek kyanos meaning blue. Blue kyanite is widely regarded in metaphysical tradition as one of the few stones that neither accumulates negative energy nor requires cleansing, a property it shares with selenite and is consistent across independent sources. Primary sources include Brazil, Nepal, Tibet, the USA, Kenya, and India.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
