Red Tiger Eye Tumbled Chips - 5-15 mm
Product Description
These Red Tiger Eye Chips are tumbled pieces in warm red to auburn, catching the silky moving light band, or chatoyancy, characteristic of tiger eye. The chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to crystal grids, resin and jewellery craft, pouches, and decorative fills.
Red Tiger Eye is traditionally associated with confidence, motivation, and grounded energy, and is commonly used to support drive, courage, and a steady sense of vitality. Loose chips like these are often placed in grids and intention layouts, added to craft and resin projects, or carried in a pouch. Their warm red glow and moving light make them a striking material for energising layouts.
As a natural stone, each chip varies in its depth of red and the play of its chatoyancy across the mix, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Red Tiger Eye is a quartz pseudomorph after crocidolite, silicon dioxide with a hardness of 7, in which silica has replaced the original mineral fibres while preserving their parallel alignment, producing the silky chatoyant light band. Its red to auburn colour comes from the oxidation of iron within those fibres, a more extensive oxidation than in standard golden-brown Tiger Eye. The fibre replacement is complete, so the material is fully silica and safe to handle. It is sourced chiefly from South Africa, with further material from India and Brazil.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
