Opal Tumbled Stone - 20-30 mm
Product Description
These Ethiopian Opal Tumbled Stones are smooth, rounded pieces in a white to translucent body, many showing flashes of play-of-colour when they catch the light. Tumbling rounds the edges while preserving the soft, hydrated look of the opal. Each stone is a small, individual piece with its own colour character.
Opal is traditionally associated with emotional awareness and creativity, and it is a popular carry or pocket stone. In tumbled form it suits a grid, a bowl display, or a small gift.
These are natural stones, so colour, play-of-colour, size, and pattern vary from piece to piece, and the stones you receive will differ from those photographed.

Geological Information
Ethiopian Opal is a hydrated silica, silicon dioxide with water content, with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 and an amorphous structure. It shows a white to transparent base with a vivid play of colour, typically broader than Australian opal. It is hydrophane, meaning it can temporarily absorb water, which affects clarity and colour until it dries; this is a natural characteristic, not a defect. Origins: Ethiopia, chiefly the Wollo and Shewa provinces.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Opal contains natural water and can craze (develop fine cracks) with sudden temperature changes or very dry conditions, so keep it away from prolonged heat, harsh light, and rapid drying, and avoid soaking.
