Geological Information
Peach Moonstone is a member of the feldspar family, an orthoclase feldspar carrying trace iron that produces its warm peach to apricot body colour, with a hardness of 6 to 6.5 and a monoclinic crystal structure. Its floating sheen, known as adularescence, is produced by light scattering through fine alternating layers of orthoclase and albite within the stone, the same internal structure responsible for the glow in every moonstone variety. Sri Lanka produces the finest, most translucent peach material. Peach Moonstone shares the lunar and feminine associations moonstone has held across South Asian and Western cultures, with its warm colouration lending it a stronger link to nurturing and creative energies in modern metaphysical practice. It is sourced primarily from India, with additional fine material from Sri Lanka and Madagascar.

Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance.
