Chevron Amethyst Worry Stone - 1.5 inch

Purple and white banded worry stone for focus and calm
$13.95

Product Description

Chevron Amethyst Worry Stones supplied as a set of twelve, each a small oval with a thumb hollow across one face. Bands of deep purple and milky white alternate across every piece in sharp V-shaped angles, and because the cut passes through the banding at a different point each time, some stones show clean chevrons while others read as broad stripes or scattered wedges. The polish is high and the contrast between the two layers is crisp.

Chevron Amethyst is traditionally used for intuition alongside grounding, a pairing that the material itself suggests: the purple carries amethyst's associations and the white quartz the steadying ones. It is commonly held during practice, carried daily, or given to someone who finds plain amethyst too soft. At a dozen the banding variation is the reason to sort through rather than take the top one.

Geological Information
Chevron Amethyst is a banded variety of amethyst, quartz at Mohs 7 in the trigonal system, in which purple iron-bearing quartz and white quartz crystallised in alternating V-shaped layers. The chevron pattern records oscillating iron availability in the silica-bearing fluid during hydrothermal growth: when iron was present the layer formed purple, when it was absent the layer formed white, and the alternation repeated as conditions shifted. The result is a single stone carrying both the full purple of amethyst and the clarity of white quartz in distinct geometric bands. No treatment is involved; the banding is a natural growth record. It shares the complete historical tradition of amethyst, one of the most consistently documented gemstones across Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Christian use, and forms within the same deposits. Brazil is the primary source, with further material from India, Madagascar and Namibia.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding. Chevron Amethyst can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Display the piece away from a sunlit window.
