Pistachio Calcite Worry Stone - 1.75-2 inch
Product Description
Pistachio Calcite Worry Stone cut to a broad oval with a thumb hollow across one face. The green is soft and slightly muted, closer to the nut the name refers to than to any vivid mineral green, mottled throughout with paler cream zones and occasional darker flecks where the inclusions gather. The lustre is waxy rather than glassy and the surface is very smooth, with the stone lighter in the hand than its size suggests.
Green calcite is traditionally associated with renewal and with easing into something rather than forcing it, and is often chosen for a room rather than a pocket. It is commonly kept on a windowsill or a shelf where daylight reaches it, held during quiet practice, or given to someone settling into a new situation. The soft colouring suits a shared space better than most green stones.

Geological Information
Pistachio Calcite is a trade name for Green Calcite, a calcium carbonate mineral of the calcite family crystallising in the trigonal system at Mohs 3. It occurs in massive form rather than as distinct crystals, and the green comes from chlorite inclusions distributed through the carbonate matrix rather than from any colouring of the calcite itself, which is why the tone shifts across a single piece according to how densely those inclusions sit. The material is natural and untreated. At Mohs 3 it is among the softer stones carried commercially, considerably softer than any quartz-family green stone it might be mistaken for. Commercial material comes from Mexico, Brazil and Pakistan.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding. Green Calcite is sensitive to acids and can be damaged by contact with household cleaning products or skincare products.
