Peach Moonstone Worry Stone - 1.5-1.75 inch
Product Description
Peach Moonstone Worry Stone cut to an oval with a thumb hollow across one face. The body colour is a warm peach to apricot, cloudy rather than clear, and tilted under a light a soft white sheen floats across the surface and shifts with the angle rather than staying put. Both the depth of colour and the strength of that sheen are particular to the individual stone.
Peach Moonstone carries the lunar associations shared across all moonstone varieties, with the warmer colouring giving it a stronger link to nurturing and to creative work in modern practice. It is commonly kept close during a demanding stretch, held in the evening, or given to someone in a period of change. The sheen is worth finding before the piece is put away, since it only appears from certain angles.

Geological Information
Peach Moonstone is orthoclase feldspar, a potassium aluminium silicate with trace iron, crystallising in the monoclinic system at Mohs 6 to 6.5. The iron produces the warm peach to apricot body colour, while the floating sheen, called adularescence, comes from the same lamellar structure found in every moonstone variety: alternating microscopic layers of orthoclase and albite that scatter light as it enters the stone, so the glow appears to sit beneath the surface rather than on it. No treatment or dye is involved. Sri Lanka produces the finest translucent peach material. The stone shares the lunar and feminine traditions attached to moonstone across South Asian and Western cultures. India is the primary commercial source, with further material from Sri Lanka and Madagascar.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Peach Moonstone has natural cleavage planes and can chip or fracture if knocked against a hard surface. Handle with care.
