Ruby Zoisite Worry Stone - 1.25-1.5 inch

Vivid green zoisite with red ruby in a smooth worry stone for vitality and heart-centred energy
$6.95

Product Description

Ruby Zoisite Worry Stone, a small oval with a thumb hollow across one face. The ground is a strong opaque green, and through it sit patches of dull red and streaks of black, with the proportions varying between pieces, some stones almost entirely green and others carrying broad red zones. The polish is even, though the red areas take it slightly differently from the green because the two minerals have very different hardness.

Ruby Zoisite is traditionally associated with vitality alongside warmth, an unusual pairing that comes directly from the two minerals sharing one stone. It is commonly carried through demanding periods, held during practice, or given to someone who needs energy without hardness. The variation in red content is part of what makes each piece worth a closer look.

Geological Information
Ruby Zoisite, also called Anyolite from the Masai word for green, is a naturally occurring combination rock rather than a single mineral: opaque ruby corundum embedded in green zoisite, with black tschermakite hornblende running through both. The green comes from the zoisite, the red from the ruby, and the dark accents from the amphibole, which is a hornblende rather than a mica despite occasionally being described as one. Hardness varies substantially across a single piece because ruby corundum sits at Mohs 9 while zoisite is nearer 6, so the polish behaves differently across the surface. The material comes from the Longido district of Tanzania, with further material from Kenya, and was commercially discovered in 1954. The name Anyolite is a genuine indigenous Masai designation rather than a marketing invention.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
