Unakite Worry Stone - 1.25-1.5 inch
Product Description
Unakite Worry Stone cut to a compact oval with a thumb hollow across one face. The stone is a mottled combination of dusty salmon pink and olive green, the two colours interlocking in irregular patches with occasional clear grey flecks between them, and the proportions shift considerably from piece to piece. The polish is high and the surface is smooth and cool, with the groove sitting deep enough to locate a thumb without looking.
Unakite is traditionally associated with balance and with steady transformation, and is often regarded as a gently grounding, heart-centred stone rather than an assertive one. As a worry stone the motion of the thumb across the groove offers a simple grounding ritual, which is much of the point of the Form. The soft pink and green makes it an easy everyday carry or a thoughtful gift.

Geological Information
Unakite is a metamorphic rock at Mohs 6 to 7, composed of pink orthoclase feldspar, clear quartz and green epidote occurring together in consistent proportion, and it is those three minerals in combination that produce the characteristic pink and green patterning. It is not a jasper despite occasionally being sold as one; the mineralogy is entirely different. The pink comes from the feldspar and the green from the epidote, both natural, with no dye or enhancement involved. The material is named after the Unaka Mountains of North Carolina, where it was first identified. Commercial sources include the Unaka Mountains and Virginia in the USA, along with South Africa, Brazil and China.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
