Product Description

Emerald Tumbled Stones are green pieces ranging from pale to deeper green, typically opaque to translucent with visible natural inclusions and fractures. The polish brings out the green colour, and each stone carries its own pattern of internal characteristics. These are solid, mid-sized tumbles with a rich, classic green.

Emerald is traditionally associated with love, compassion, and balance. It is commonly carried as a heart-centred stone, held during meditation focused on emotional harmony, or kept close as a warming presence. As one of the traditional precious gemstones, it is a meaningful piece to carry, collect, or give.

Inclusions and colour depth vary considerably from stone to stone; the internal characteristics, traditionally called the jardin, are a natural feature of emerald rather than a flaw, so each piece is individual.

Geological Information
Emerald is a member of the beryl family, a beryllium aluminium silicate (Mohs 7.5-8, hexagonal), and is defined as the green variety of beryl coloured by chromium and sometimes vanadium. Almost all natural emeralds contain inclusions and fractures, the internal characteristics traditionally called the jardin, the French word for garden. It is one of the four traditional precious gemstones, used in ancient Egypt, where Cleopatra was said to have claimed ownership of the Egyptian emerald mines, and traded by the Incas before European contact. It is sourced from Colombia, the premium source, along with Zambia, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
