Dalmatian Jasper Heart - 1.75-2.0 inch

A speckled, palm-filling keepsake that steadies a cluttered desk
$16.95

Product Description

The Dalmatian Jasper Heart is a cream to soft beige stone scattered with dark spots that fall across the surface at random, no two pieces reading the same way. The polish is smooth and even, carrying a low sheen that lifts the pale groundmass and deepens the spotting. The lobes are full and symmetrical, tapering to a rounded point, and the piece sits comfortably in a closed palm with enough weight to feel substantial. One Heart is supplied per order; the grouped photograph shows the range of spotting across the batch.

Dalmatian Jasper is traditionally associated with protection and grounding, and is commonly reached for by people wanting to feel steadier in unsettled stretches. A secondary association with energy and vitality gives it a lighter, more playful reputation than most grounding stones, and it is often described as a stone for shaking off overthinking rather than simply anchoring against it. The Heart shape makes it a straightforward gift, and the spotted pattern gives Dalmatian Jasper an appeal that does not depend on the recipient knowing anything about crystals.

Geological Information
Dalmatian Jasper is an igneous rock at Mohs 6-7, built from a pale matrix of feldspar and quartz. The cream to beige body colour comes from that feldspar-quartz groundmass, while the black spotting is produced by crystals of black tourmaline, or by iron oxide in some material, distributed through the rock as it formed. Despite the trade name, Dalmatian Jasper is not a true jasper; jasper is a microcrystalline quartz, whereas this material is a genuine igneous rock, and the name reflects the spotted appearance rather than the mineralogy. The material requires no treatment or enhancement, and the pattern seen here is entirely natural. There is no distinct ancient tradition attached to the stone, which is a comparatively recent entrant to the crystal market. Mexico is the primary commercial source.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
