Ruby Zoisite Tumbled Stones combine vivid green zoisite with patches of red-pink ruby and streaks of black hornblende, a bold three-colour combination in a single stone. The polish brings out the contrast between the deep green and the ruby patches, and each stone carries its own distribution of the three. These are solid, striking mid-sized tumbles.

Geological Information
Ruby Zoisite, also called Anyolite, is a naturally occurring combination rock (Mohs 6-9, variable) of opaque ruby corundum in green zoisite with black tschermakite hornblende: the green comes from zoisite, the red from ruby, and the black from tschermakite. It is untreated natural material, a genuine natural combination. The name Anyolite derives from the Masai word for green, a culturally authentic indigenous designation, and the material was a commercial discovery in 1954. It is found in the Longido district of Tanzania, with additional material from Kenya.
