The Ocean Jasper Sphere is a fully polished orb in deep green to grey Ocean Jasper, its surface scattered with the small circular orbs and mottled zones that give the material its name. The high polish brings up the contrast between the darker ground and the paler rings, and the rounded form sits well in the hand or on a stand as a rich, patterned display piece.
Ocean Jasper is traditionally regarded as a calming and uplifting stone, commonly used to encourage emotional balance and a settled, positive frame of mind. A sphere like this is often kept as a display specimen, held during quiet moments, or placed among other stones in a collection. Its distinctive orbicular patterning makes it a favourite among collectors of patterned stones.
Formed from natural Ocean Jasper, each Sphere carries its own arrangement of orbs, colour, and pattern, so no two are the same.

Geological Information
Ocean Jasper is a spherulitic rhyolite, a silica-rich volcanic rock rather than a true chalcedony jasper, with a hardness of 6.5 to 7. Its characteristic circular orbital patterns form by radial crystal growth within the rock, and some colour zones fluoresce under ultraviolet light. The material comes from a genuinely limited source: coastal cliffs near Marovato on the Madagascar coast, reachable only by boat at certain tides, which is why it is treated as a collectible stone. It was first brought to the commercial market in the late 1990s, and all Ocean Jasper originates from that single Madagascan coastline.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
