The Tiger Eye Candle Holder is a compact block of polished Tiger Eye with a metal socket set into the top, sized for a mini chime candle, and the sides left with their natural cut texture. The stone's banded golden brown runs in parallel bands across the polished surface, and the chatoyant sheen moves as the piece is turned, so the light band shifts position rather than staying fixed. The contrast between the glossy top face and the rougher sides gives the holder a worked but unfussy character. A candle is not included with this listing.
Tiger Eye is traditionally associated with confidence and steady resolve, and with a grounding, protective quality; Roman soldiers are recorded as having carried it into battle as a protective talisman, and it saw use in traditional medicine across parts of Asia and Africa. A holder in this material suits a desk or workspace as readily as an altar, and the warm colour reads well against wood. It works equally as a standing object when no candle is in place.

Geological Information
Tiger Eye is a chalcedony of the quartz family, silicon dioxide rating 7 on the Mohs scale, formed as a pseudomorph after crocidolite. The process is gradual replacement: silica progressively substitutes for blue crocidolite fibres while preserving their parallel alignment, and that preserved fibre structure is what produces the chatoyancy, the silky moving light band commonly called the cat's eye effect. The replacement is complete in finished material, so the original fibres are fully converted to silica. Hawk's Eye is the blue-grey variety, where oxidation of the iron content is incomplete. South Africa is the primary source, with additional material from India, Australia, the USA, and Brazil.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Seat the mini chime candle fully in the metal socket. Place the holder on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts and flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
